A retired professional wrestler and former congressional candidate surrendered to police in Nevada on Wednesday March 6 2024 after a warrant was issued for his arrest in the killing of a man — who himself was acquitted of murder — who died last year from a head injury at a Las Vegas Strip hotel Daniel Rodimer grew up in Rockaway, New Jersey. He earned a law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in 2013. His professional experience includes working as a businessman, professional wrestler, and football player. Rodimer was named to the Clark County School District Safety Advisory Committee in 2018. He was named one of the GOP's Young Guns Contender 2020. He and his wife, Sarah Rodimer, have five children. As a Republican, Rodimer ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Texas' 6th Congressional District. He lost in the special general election on May 1, 2021. 45-year-old Daniel Rodimer on a charge of open murder in the death of Chris Tapp -- who previously served two decades in prison for a murder he did not commit. Rodimer allegedly became upset after Tapp offered Rodimer's stepdaughter cocaine. Tapp and Rodimer knew each other through the classic car and racing circuit.
