Brett Mecum

Brett Mecum is a longtime government relations professional and public servant. Presently, he serves as President of Cadmus Public Affairs, LLC and Principal at Intrepid Global Strategies, LLC. Cadmus Public Affairs is a Phoenix based lobbying firm that specializes in state and local government affairs. Intrepid Global Strategies is a political consulting firm that specializes in SuperPAC, independent expenditure, and political association work. Prior to founding Cadmus and Intrepid Global Strategies, Mr. Mecum served as Deputy Chief of Staff to Arizona Speaker of the House David Gowan from 2014-2017. He was also the Federal and Legislative Liaison to Arizona State Attorney General Tom Horne from 2013-2014 and was the Executive Director and Political Director of the Arizona Republican Party from 2007-2011. He has also worked for former New York Governor George Pataki and former US Congressman Bill Paxon. Mr. Mecum is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with degrees in Political Science and Regional Planning. He was named as one the Phoenix Business Journal’s prestigious Forty-under-40 in 2011.. He is also President of the Brownstone Square Home Owners Association, has been a member of the Scottsdale Active 20-30 Club, and was selected Project CENTRL Class XXV. Mr. Mecum resides in Phoenix, Arizona.
