Since 1985 Ms. Crawford has been Associate Director for Economics and Government at the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. She has served at the Federal Trade Commission as Director of Bureau of Consumer Protection, 1983 - 1985, and as executive assistant to the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, 1981 - 1983. Prior to this she was an attorney at Collier, Shannon, Rill and Scott, 1979 - 1981. Ms. Crawford has been a trustee with the Barry Goldwater Chair of American Institutions, Arizona State University since 1983, and she served as a senior adviser to the Reagan-Bush transition team, 1980. Ms. Crawford graduated from Mount Holyoke College (B.A., 1965) and American University, Washington College of Law (J.D., 1978). She was born in Mount Holly, NJ, on February 25, 1943. She resides in McLean, VA.
