John E Harvey

As reported: "Harvey, John The University was sadly informed of the passing of former Senior Executive at IBM, Dr John Harvey AO, in July 2017 who lost his battle with cancer. John was influential in the expansion of IBM at Tech Park on the Mt Helen Campus and developed a close working relationship with the University and Tech Park management during his 20-year association. In his later years, he became Chairman of ATMC, one of FedUni’s private provider partners. John was an energetic, highly intelligent and committed individual and, above all, displayed a genuine fondness for Ballarat and the University. The University recognised his services in 2007, awarding him an Honorary Doctorate of Business. [...]"
