Becky Abens

Becky Abens has a long history of advocating for women and children in her work and in her community. Becky has had a diverse career. She spent her early career working with crime victims in the Victim Witness Division of the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas. She’s also held leadership positions in small business start-ups, trial consulting, and currently does compliance and ethics training for a biotech company. Becky has volunteered her time working with numerous organizations supporting women and children including elder abuse, rape crisis services, AIDS patient support, and child advocacy. Becky currently dedicates her spare time to volunteering with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of San Mateo County. Becky lives in North County with her two beloved dogs.
