David graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served in the Air Force as a pilot flying B-52s, FB-111s, and RQ/MQ-1s. He commanded a B-52 deployment in 1998 supporting Operation SouthernWatch (Iraq). He transferred to Creech Air Force base in 1999 to command a Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) squadron and deployed to Bosnia in 2000, to the Middle East in 2002 for Operation Southern Watch (Iraq) and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan). In 2003, Dave deployed to the Middle East again forthe Second Gulf War. Shortly after returning, Dave retired from the Air Force after 25 years and made North Las Vegas his permanent home. Since his Air Force retirement, Dave has been a member of the Clark County Republican Central Committee, serving on the Executive Board from 2005-2011 and as Chairman in 2011-2012. He was elected to the Nevada Republican Central Committee in 2006 and is still a member today. Dave has worked in different areas of the RPA industry since 2003. He has continued deploying to the Middle East as a civilian contractor, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait between 2009 and 2011. Currently, he manages and oversees contracts supporting government Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) maintenance operations in the US and overseas.
