Tim provides service across the country to federal and state officeholders, candidates, leadership PACs, and other political committees (national party, traditional PACs, and Super PACs) in all aspects of campaign finance regulation, ethics compliance, and general operational matters. Currently he is the General Counsel to the political office of Speaker Paul Ryan. In his role as counsel to the 2012 Republican Vice President nominee Congressman Paul Ryan, Tim is experienced in the vetting process, financial disclosure matters, and general operational issues. He has the unique experience of handling dual candidacy matters in simultaneous Presidential and House of Representatives campaigns. Tim also provides counsel to corporations, trade associations, and advocacy groups regarding campaign finance compliance and lobbying regulations and disclosure. Tim holds a law degree from DePaul University College of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from The American University. Currently he lives in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Wisconsin bars. He also is a member of the Board of Governors for the Republican National Lawyers Association and a member of the Federalist Society.
