John R. Fielder is president of Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the nation's largest electric utilities. Fielder began his Edison career in 1970 and held a variety of supervisory and management positions in the Information Services organization. He was named vice president of Information Services, SCE's technology and systems organization, in 1989. He assumed the role of vice president of Regulatory Policy and Affairs in 1992 and was promoted to senior vice president in 1998. Fielder is a member of the Rancho Los Cerritos Foundation and serves on the boards of directors of Miller Children's Hospital, the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Southern California Leadership Council, and the Alliance to Save Energy.
