Jack Fuller was president of Tribune Publishing (1997-2001) and on its board of directors from 2001 until he retired in 2004. In 1986 he won a Pulitzer Prize for his editorials in the Chicago Tribune on constitutional issues. He is the author of News Values: Ideas for an Information Age and six novels. Mr. Fuller is a trustee at the University of Chicago and a member of the board for Torstar Corporation. Mr. Fuller is a member of the Audit Committee, the Budget and Compensation Committee, the Institutional Policy Committee, and the Committee on Human and Community Development of the Foundation. His undergraduate degree is from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and he has a law degree from the Yale Law School.
