A licensed real estate broker, she is also a partner in her family's business. Mary Ose earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and social relations from Cornell University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She also has a Juris Doctorate from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley, though she is not a practicing attorney.
