John W Richardson

John W. Richardson, 61, has served as Qwest's controller and senior vice president since April 2003 and was designated chief accounting officer in April 2004. He will continue in that role along with his new duties as chief financial officer. Prior to joining Qwest, Richardson was an independent consultant and from 1967 to 2002, he held various financial positions at Goodyear Tire And Rubber Company, including vice president of finance for the North American tire business unit. He currently serves as a director of Ashworth, Inc. and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University.
