Brooke S. Richman graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 with a BA in History. After Penn, Brooke worked at Citigroup in the sales and trading analyst program as a Credit Sector Specialist, covering high grade & high yield retail companies. Realizing her true passion was actually the retail sphere itself, Brooke left Citi to work as a buyer for Theory & Helmut Lang. Wanting to combine her finance background with her retail expertise by starting her own venture, Brooke obtained her MBA from Columbia Business School, where she focused on retail and entrepreneurship, in 2013. Currently, Brooke is the CEO & founder of coop & spree, a multi-brand contemporary women's apparel and accessories concept which opened August 2014 in downtown Manhattan. coop & spree carries the contemporary market's most coveted designers from across the globe, including the most exclusive and emerging under-the-radar brands, while revitalizing the traditional brick-and-mortar space by providing the digital sophistication that the stylish, young Metropolitan consumer has grown accustomed to expect. In addition to retail and fashion, Brooke is passionate about the New York Knicks, American history, school supplies, and her family's golden retrievers.
