Author of "Good Morning, Beautiful Business: the Unexpected Journey of an Activist Entrepreneur and Local Economy Pioneer." I speak on my life's journey including building sustainable local economies, running a business with a balance of head and heart, learning from indigenous wisdom and bringing the feminine into balance with the masculine to build a more compassionate and caring economy. My book won the 2014 gold metal for "business leadership" from Nautilus national book awards.
My current projects include founding a micro loan fund called the Circle of Aunts & Uncles www.circleofauntsanduncles.com, and a campaign called Proud Pennsylvania that advocates a positive vision for our state as a network of sustainable, inclusive and thriving regional economies running on 100% renewable and producing basic needs of food, fiber and fuel locally.
