Jared Golden

US Representative for Maine's 2nd district which covers all of Maine but its southern coastal area, Portland and Augusta. A Marine veteran (2002-2006), he served combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Returning to civilian life he graduated from Bates College, with a degree in Hstory and Politics. After working for an international logistic firm, he worked for Maine Senator Susan Collins in Washington DC, returning to Maine in 2013 to work for the House Democratic Office in the Maine Legislature. He then was elected to the Maine House in 2014 and in 2016.
