Mary Jean Ryan
Community Center for Education Results
Mary Jean is the founder and Executive Director of the Community Center for Education Results, which was created to support the Road Map Project. Previously, she has served as director of Seattle’s Office of Policy and Management, Seattle’s economic development director, and associate deputy administrator for economic development for the U.S. Small Business Administration. She chaired the State Board of Education during its reconstitution phase and served on the board and on the Quality Education Council. Mary Jean has a bachelor’s from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. Mary Jean’s favorite places in the Road Map Project region include Pritchard Beach and La Huerta Market in Kent.
