Rob Ehrich

Rob Ehrich is CEO and founder of Slipstream Strategies which specializes in strategic government affairs consulting and lobbying in the emerging commercial unmanned aircraft system (UAS)/drone space to help public and private sector clients advance their interests in Washington. Rob brings nearly 20 years of federal government and advocacy experience to his practice at the nexus of the commercial drone industry and the federal government. As a government relations consultant for the last decade, Rob has worked with clients from a range of industries helping them grow their markets by developing and successfully executing congressional and executive branch agency strategies. In addition to his work on behalf of individual clients, Rob has experience leading collaborative government affairs efforts with diverse memberships, such as the Alliance for Drone Safety and Security Solutions, a coalition of stakeholders focused on increasing awareness of safety and security solutions for drones, including drone countermeasure technologies, and enabling expanded use of those capabilities. Prior to consulting, Rob served as Legislative Assistant to Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) for nearly a decade. In this role, he was the Senator's principal advisor on appropriations, transportation, homeland security, and water resources. Rob was also Senator Bayh's Military Legislative Assistant (MLA) and designated staff member to the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), advising the Senator and staff on matters before the committee.
