Richard Schiff

Actor Richard Schiff is a 2008 recipient of Council for a Livable World’s Father Robert F. Drinan National Peace and Human Rights Award. He was an outspoken critic of the War in Iraq and a long-time champion of the anti-war movement. Mr. Schiff is a regular contributor to the London-based Independent on American politics. He has reported and commented for the BBC for both radio and television and writes for the widely-known Huffington Post. Mr. Schiff has acted in over 50 movies, numerous television programs, and appears on stage in London, New York, and LA. He is best known for his Emmy winning performance as Toby Zeigler, White House Communications Director, on The West Wing.
