Scott M. Kortmeyer focuses his health care finance practice on tax-exempt and taxable financings for 501(c)(3) health care entities and governmental health care entities. He has served nationally as bond counsel, borrower's counsel, credit enhancer's counsel and underwriters' counsel for revenue financings involving health care systems, academic medical centers, retirement centers and nursing facilities. Mr. Kortmeyer has extensive experience advising his health care clients in the structuring and completion of financings for a variety of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and asset securitizations. He has also worked with governmental health care and 501(c)(3) heath care clients in connection with the filing, restructuring, sale and/or purchase of assets through Chapter IX and Chapter XI bankruptcies.
