Reinhard Freimuth is a Managing Director of Columbus Nova MB. Previously, Mr. Freimuth was a Managing Director of Headwaters MB’s, Dallas-based Special Situations Group. Prior to that, Mr. Freimuth was a Managing Director with ORIX USA Corporation, where he built and led the Special Assets Group, and rebuilt and grew the Leveraged Finance Group. Mr. Freimuth was a Vice President at Centre Solutions (member of Zurich Financial Services Group), where he was responsible for resolving, and exiting distressed structured finance investments in North and South America. Mr. Freimuth spent nine-years at Bank of America, and its predecessors, with his last title being that of a Principal in the Global Corporate Investment Bank’s Special Assets Group, where he was responsible for restructuring approximately $750 million of distressed assets. Prior to joining the financial services profession, Mr. Freimuth was an officer in the United States Air Force. In addition, he is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (“CIRA”). Mr. Freimuth holds a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an M.B.A. in finance and economics from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.
