Hugh J. Zentmyer is Executive Vice President of ITW. Mr. Zentmyer oversees seven business groups, which include Coding and Sealing Systems, ITW Static Control, Air Products & Machined Components, Contamination Control, Finishing Systems, Valeron, Quality Measurement Division, and Instron. He joined Signode Corporation (acquired by ITW) in 1968 and held a variety of accounting positions and served as Vice President of Finance for the Strapping Division. When ITW acquired Signode 1986, Mr. Zentmyer transferred into operations management. He has been Executive Vice President for 11 years. Mr. Zentmyer earned his B.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Xavier University of Cincinnati. He serves on the boards of the Marmon Group and St. Patrick’s High School.
