Holly A. Brinkman Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Areas of Expertise: nonprofit organizational management, accounting, financial oversight “I appreciate the opportunity to grow that comes with a frequently changing landscape in education and the nonprofit sector – the professional challenges I encounter in my work and the tireless support of my team are invaluable.” Holly is responsible for oversight of the finance, accounting, HR and IT functions for the KnowledgeWorks and its subsidiaries and management of the investment portfolio. Her responsibilities include oversight of the financial systems, including financial accounting, investment accounting, grants, accounts receivable and payable, cash management, budget preparation and risk management. Holly also prepares the financial statements and tax reporting, leads the annual audit and is responsible for establishing and monitoring the system of internal controls. She brings significant experience in non-profit organizations to her CFO position. Prior to her current role with the organization, Holly served as the Vice President and Controller of KnowledgeWorks since January 2002. Prior to joining KnowledgeWorks, Holly was employed by Student Loan Funding from 1992 through 2001. Responsibilities included financial, budget and indenture compliance reporting for SLF and its subsidiaries, oversight of all accounting functions, establishing and monitoring of accounting procedures and internal controls and management of the accounting staff. Brinkman holds a bachelor’s in accounting and a minor in finance from Northern Kentucky University. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
