Formerly, Ms. Reynolds was the Chief Deputy Commissioner for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) where she oversaw the day-to-day operations of the agency and engaged and collaborated with education stakeholders in the development, implementation and delivery of education programs and initiatives throughout Texas.
Prior to her work at TEA, Reynolds worked with the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) as the representative for the five states represented within Region VI: Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. At the USDOE she was the congressional liaison to the primary education and workforce committees in the U.S. Congress and U.S. Senate. Reynolds was Legislative Director for a Texas State Senator and then-Governor George Bush.
Reynolds is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
