Professor Joskow has been a director of Exelon since July 23, 2007. He serves on the audit, energy delivery oversight, and risk oversight committees. He became President of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation on January 1, 2008. He is also the Elizabeth and James Killian Professor of Economics and Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Director for Energy and Environmental Policy Research. Professor Joskow joined the MIT faculty in 1972 and was head of the MIT Department of Economics from 1994-19998. Professor Joskow is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He has served on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Acid Rain Advisory Committee, on the Environmental Economics Committee of EPA's Science Advisory Board, and on the National Commission on Energy Policy. He is a director of TransCanada Pipelines Limited and a Trustee of the Putnam Mutual Funds.
