Stephen C Gray

A member of the Syniverse Board of Directors since January 2011, Stephen C. Gray also served as the company's President and Chief Executive Officer from 2014 until 2018. With more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, Mr. Gray is the Founder of Gray Venture Partners, LLC, and he serves as the Chairman of ImOn Communications, LLC, SecurityCoverage, Inc., Involta, LLC, and HH Ventures, LLC (d/b/a, ReadyMobile). In addition to Syniverse, he is a member of the Board of Directors for CommScope, which is a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, one of the world's premier and most successful private equity firms. Mr. Gray also previously served as an Operating Executive with Carlyle's Global Telecommunications, Media and Technology Group. Previously, Mr. Gray served in leadership positions at McLeodUSA, MCI, and TelecomUSA. Mr. Gray earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. In 2014, he was recognized for his leadership in mobile by being named a member of the prestigious Global Telecoms Business Power 100 list and appointed to the CTIA-The Wireless Association's executive committee.
