Tracie Ahern

Ms. Tracie Ahern, CPA serves as a Principal at Danesmead Partners since July 2016. Previously, she served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Brightwood Capital Advisors, LLC. Ms. Ahern was the Chief Financial Officer at Soros Fund Management LLC, where she was responsible for Finance, Treasury, and Operations functions since 2007. Prior to joining Soros Fund Management LLC, Ms. Ahern was the Vice President for Capital Markets Accounting for Freddie Mac from 2005 to 2007. From 1999 to 2005, Ms. Ahern was employed at Lord Abbett & Co. LLC where she was the Director of Accounting and Operations and was a Partner from 2002 to 2005. Previously Ms. Ahern spent 10 years working in the financial services industry and public accounting for Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Price Waterhouse. She served as an interested Director on numerous boards for Quantum Fund related entities. Ms. Ahern has served on the National Foundation and Corporate Boards of the Human Rights Campaign, as well as DC Scores. She is currently an adjunct professor at Monmouth University and co-owner of Assisting Hands Homecare. Ms. Ahern is a seasoned financial executive with over 26 years working in the investment management industry, including 10 years as a Chief Financial Officer with alternative and long-only funds. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Ahern received her M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from New York University – Stern School of Business and B.S. in Accounting from Manhattan College.
