I head up BIT's North America office based in Brooklyn, New York. Since its establishment in 2015, the North American office has run over 60 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to test interventions informed by behavioral science in over 30 US states, as well as taking on a growing portfolio of work in Canada and internationally. Our client partners include: Bloomberg Philanthropies, whose What Works Cities program has supported our delivery of over 60 RCTs in its first two years; the International Rescue Committee; the City of New York; Canada's Rideau Hall Foundation; and UNDP. Across our engagements we have worked on a range of policy issues, from housing choice, to charitable giving, to public health, and criminal justice. Prior to taking on the North American operation, I was the Director of the Behavioural Research Centre for Adult Skills and Knowledge (ASK) and Head of Education, Skill and Local Government for BIT UK. Before joining BIT, while it was still part of The Cabinet Office, I was a management consultant at Accenture where I worked on a diverse range of projects with public sector clients around the world.
