John Hoy

John Hoy joined Utilities, Inc. in January 2006 as Regional Vice President of Operations for the Florida and South Regions. He was named Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer in June 2007, Chief Operating Officer in January 2010 and then President of the Florida companies in March 2014. John has over 30 years of experience in the utility industry including gas, electric and water utilities. Prior to joining Utilities, Inc. he spent 24 years with Wisconsin Gas and the parent company WICOR, Inc. which later merged into Wisconsin Energy. John served in a variety of operations, finance and regulatory positions including: General Manager of Water; Director of Investor Relations, Strategic Planning and Financial Reporting; and Manager of Major Projects. John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration both from Marquette University. He holds a Professional Engineer’s license and Level II candidate status as a Charter Financial Analyst.
