Through her work, several companies including Volvo Parts of North America and Washington Mutual announced new operations in the area, resulting in the creation of hundreds of new high-wage jobs for the community. Jennifer has lived in Jacksonville for 12 years, relocating from South Florida after completing her MBA at Nova Southeastern University. She has served in both leadership and volunteer capacities with Jacksonville Community Council Inc., Junior Achievement, the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens and the Duval County Schools’ Principal for a Day Program. In addition, she is currently serving on both the Early Learning Coalition of Duval County and the Junior League of Jacksonville, Inc.’s Board of Directors. She is also a Senior Fellow in the Washington DC-based Environmental Leadership Program, which has afforded her the opportunity to build relationships with other “green souls” around the Southeastern United States. She is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville’s class of 2008 and was acknowledged in 2010 as one of Jacksonville’s 40 under 40 by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
