Jim Davidson

Jim is a managing partner and managing director of Silver Lake, which he cofounded in 1999. Silver Lake is one of the largest and most successful technology investment managers in the world. Jim has been an active advisor to and investor in the technology industries for more than 30 years. Prior to Silver Lake, Jim was a managing director at Hambrecht & Quist, a technology-focused investment bank and venture capital firm. Jim is an active “angel investor” and advisor to several private technology companies.
