A partner in the Government Affairs Group, Robert H. Finney has been engaged in the practice of law since 1993. Active in government affairs matters at the federal, state, and local levels, he primarily represents clients in government contracts and business strategy. Mr. Finney advises small and large business clients on a variety of issues, including proposal preparation and business counseling, subcontracting relationships, teaming, strategic alliance and joint venture agreements, and employment and consultant contracts. He also counsels clients on non-compete and nondisclosure agreements, homeland security, anti-terrorism, small business preferences, prosecution and defense of bid protests and compliance reviews, and claims preparation. Additionally, he advises organizations on procurement procedures. As an active contributor to civic and professional groups, Mr. Finney lends his time to a variety of organizations in South Texas. He is a member of Texas Lyceum, a select group of young leaders from across Texas, and has filled many roles within the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, including vice president of Business Development, chairman of the Local Government Affairs Committee, and member of the Government Affairs Steering Committee. Mr. Finney is a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Crosspoint, Inc. A former president of the San Antonio Chapter of the Baylor University Alumni Association, he also has served on the Mayor's Task Force for the City of San Antonio's municipal bond proposal and on the steering committee of Leadership San Antonio and the City of San Antonio's Leadership Development Program.
