Ellen L S Koplow

Ellen Koplow is responsible for the overall management of the legal and compliance function of the Company and its subsidiaries, and has administrative oversight of internal audit functions. She also serves as secretary of the corporation. In May 1999, Koplow joined Ameritrade as deputy general counsel. In November 2000, she was named acting general counsel and in June 2001 accepted the position of general counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Koplow was managing principal of the Columbia, MD, office of Miles & Stockbridge P.C. Koplow graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law and has a B.A. from the University of Maryland.
