Blair Watters served in a variety of capacities in the United States Congress, most recently she was the Director of Special Projects for the House Democratic Caucus under Chairman Bob Menendez (NJ-13). In the House Democratic Caucus Ms. Watters managed policy taskforces related to Tax, Budget, Crime, Military, Jobs and Economy; all Member Services activities and served as a House Floor assistant for Chairman Menendez. Blair also worked for the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA) as Director of Public Policy, handling trade and telecommunications issues; creating and implementing telecommunications and e-commerce policy for Fortune 500 members and assisted companies in developing and implementing political and grassroots strategies. Upon first arriving in Washington, DC in 1997, Ms. Watters worked for as a Legislative Assistant for Representative Matthew Martinez (CA-31) and was an intern for the late Representative Walter Capps (CA-22).
