Matthew Oresman

Matthew Oresman works on business and public policy matters with an international focus. Mr. Oresman is a recent graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused on international law and was a member of the Journal of International Law, the International Law Society, and the China Development Forum. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Oresman served as Director of the China-Eurasia Forum, a non-profit research institute focusing on Chinese foreign policy. Previously, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Freeman Chair in China Studies, at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, D.C. Mr. Oresman has also worked as a law clerk at the State Department’s Office of the Legal Advisor (2006) and the Senate Judiciary Committee (2005) during the nomination hearings of Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito. In addition, he served as a State Department intern at the U.S. Mission to NATO in Brussels (2001).
