Prior to joining Blank Rome, Ms. Navarro was an officer in the United States Navy Surface Nuclear Power community. Most recently, she served as a Congressional Liaison, where she facilitated Navy engagement and communicated legislative priorities to the U.S. Senate. In this capacity, Ms. Navarro led world-wide congressional oversight travel and facilitated briefings for Senators given by the Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations and other flag-level personnel. Ms. Navarro’s military career includes service as an Air Defense Officer at sea for the United States Navy. During this time, she developed and implemented air defense policy for a deployed multi-national naval force. As a member of a Battle Group Warfare Advisory Board and Crisis Action Team, Ms. Navarro also planned and executed aviation and strike missions involving the collaboration of nearly 7000 personnel. Additionally, she served as a Nuclear Engineering Operations and Maintenance Officer onboard an aircraft carrier, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Ms. Navarro is an Educational Counselor for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and serves on the Board of Directors of the MIT Club of Washington, D.C. She maintains active membership in the American Nuclear Society, Surface Navy Association, and Navy League.
