Mark Toro’s passion is in creating smarter built environments. As managing partner at North American Properties, he’s overseen the repositioning of Atlantic Station, development of Alpharetta’s $1 billion Avalon project, and redevelopment of Colony Square. In a career that now spans four decades, he has delivered more than 25 million square feet of commercial developments, working with the vast majority of communities in metro Atlanta. Since founding the North American Properties Atlanta office in 1996, Toro has led the development of more than $3.1 billion and 9.4 million square feet of traditional retail and introduced the “experiential community-focused” model for mixed-use development.
