Barry C McCarthy

Barry McCarthy is executive vice president and head of network and security solutions at First Data. The $1.5 billion NSS segment is one of First Data’s three publicly reported segments, and the firm’s most profitable. It includes eight discrete businesses that collectively process more than $3 trillion in annual volume and support over 1 billion cardholders. McCarthy previously was responsible for the turnaround of the firm’s financial services segment, led the firm’s collaboration with Apple on Apple Pay, and created the bestselling First Data-branded line of point-of-sale terminals.
