Thomas H Weidemeyer

Retired. Formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc. Until his retirement in February 2004, Mr. Weidemeyer served as Director, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc., a transportation and logistics company, since January 2001, and President of UPS Airlines since July 1994. Mr. Weidemeyer became Manager of the Americas International Operation in 1989, and in that capacity directed the development of the UPS delivery network throughout Central and South America. In 1990, Mr. Weidemeyer became Vice President and Airline Manager of UPS Airlines and in 1994 was elected its President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Weidemeyer became Manager of the Air Group and a member of the Management Committee that same year. In 1998 he was elected as a Director and he became Chief Operating Officer of United Parcel Service, Inc. in 2001. Mr. Weidemeyer is also a director of NRG Energy, Inc. and Waste Management, Inc.
