Joseph C. Lorigo is a lifelong resident of the Town of West Seneca. His practice focuses on civil litigation, criminal law, vehicle & traffic matters, and collection law. In civil litigation, Joe represents clients in cases involving issues such as contract disputes, property damage claims, personal injury claims, and landlord/tenant matters. Joe also represents clients in criminal defense. He handles cases ranging from traffic tickets, misdemeanors, felonies, and DWI. Additionally, Joe heads up our firm’s large collection practice. He represents a number of collection agency clients as well as individual businesses to help recover past due account receivables. Joe is well-versed in collection law and understands the importance of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. While in law school, Joe gained extensive experience in a wide range of legal matters. In addition to working at our office, he clerked for the Erie County Attorney’s Office and New York State Attorney General’s Office. Recently, Joe was elected to the Erie County Legislature for the new 10th Legislative District. As Legislator, Joe represents the towns of Aurora, Colden, Elma, Holland, Marilla, Wales, West Seneca, and the Village of East Aurora. Joe also volunteers his time as the Attorney Coach for the St. Francis High School Mock Trial Team. He currently resides in West Seneca with his wife, Jean, and their dog, Henry.
