Former president and CEO of Greensboro-based International Textile Group

Gorga was named president and CEO and a member of the board upon ITG’s formation in 2004. Under his leadership, ITG raised its profile as a leader in textile innovation, with the company's Cone Denim division launching a “Cone 3-D” research incubator to develop denim products. ITG's “Burlington Labs” research-and-development division was established in 2006. Throughout his career, Gorga was a proponent and strong supporter of the textile industry, having previously served as a director and vice chairman of the American Textile Manufacturing Institute (ATMI) and chairman of the National Textile Association.
