Elizabeth Ryan represents international and domestic clients on a range of legislative, administrative, and policy matters before Congress and the executive branch. Ms. Ryan advises clients on the development of comprehensive strategic plans to address specific legislative and regulatory interests and broader policy objectives requiring attention by the federal government. Her work includes identifying and pursuing opportunities for clients seeking federal assistance, and helping clients navigate the legislative and regulatory process in the policy areas of homeland security, transportation, science, technology, and education. Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Ryan worked for the House Select Bipartisan Committee to Investigate the Preparation for and Response to Hurricane Katrina. Previously, Ms. Ryan served as an intern for the House Judiciary Committee, where she worked on a variety of policy issues including homeland security and telecommunications. Prior to her experience on Capitol Hill, Ms. Ryan worked for the CNN News Group at Turner Broadcasting Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.
