Pat is the Chairman, Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Fiduciary Management, Inc. (FMI), an independent investment advisor with approximately $17 billion in assets under management. He analyzes stocks, markets and macro conditions, working closely with the analysts and the Director of Research. Pat has been the CIO since 1989, CEO since 2010, and Chairman since 2017. He served as President from 2001-2010. Pat is a member of the board of directors of FMI and the FMI Funds. He is also a member of the Milwaukee Analyst Society and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Pat began his career as a research analyst at Dodge & Cox in San Francisco. He received a BA in Economics from Stanford University in 1983. He is married and has four grown sons. Pat is Vice-Chairman of the Bradley Foundation, an organization committed to civil society, informed citizens, free markets and fidelity to the Constitution. He is also on the board of Encounter Books, a publisher that is part of Encounter for Culture and Education, a non-profit corporation dedicated to strengthening the marketplace of ideas and preserving democratic culture.
