David Pollak is the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Pegasus. He has been working for more than two decades at the intersection of public policy and finance. From 1990 to 2006 he was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, PaineWebber and UBS. His investment banking experience includes transactional work in the areas of asset management, public finance, public power, transportation, public-private partnerships, and land-use. In addition to heading up the firm’s marketing efforts, Mr. Pollak led the fundraising efforts for Pegasus Partners V, L.P., and is actively working with our portfolio companies on public policy opportunities nationally. He has spoken internationally about US politics, economics and financial policy. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Arab American Institute based in Washington DC. He is also on the Board of the Arab American Family Support Center. He serves on the Board of Trustees of The Community Service Society which is dedicated to alleviating poverty in New York. Mr. Pollak is also on the Board of The Center for Arts Education, an organization dedicated to restoring and sustaining arts education in New York City’s public schools. He served on the Corporate Affiliates Advisory Board of the National Association of State Treasurers. He was honored by the NY City Council, the NY State Assembly, and the NY Senate for his contributions as an Arab American to the State of New York in 2012. Mr. Pollak received his Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard University, and his BA in Economics and Politics from the Colorado College.
