Christian Frederick Martin IV

Christian Frederick Martin IV, also known as Chris, has been the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of C.F. Martin & Co., Inc., Nazareth, Pennsylvania, a guitar manufacturer, since 1986. He worked in many departments, learning how the business functioned from the bottom up. In 1985 he was appointed Vice President of Marketing, and he took an active roll in the day-to-day challenge of running a traditional business in a modern world. He has been a Director of National Penn Bancshares Inc. since February 1, 2008. He serves as a Director of National Penn Bank of National Penn Bancshares Inc. Mr. Martin served as an Independent Director of KNBT Bancorp, Inc. since 2003. He also served as a Director of First Colonial Group Inc., a subsidiary of KNBT BanCorp. Inc., since 1999. He served as a Director of Nazareth National Bank, a subsidiary of First Colonical Group, Inc. He served as a Director of Keystone Nazareth Bank & Trust Company, a subsidiary of KNBT Bancorp, Inc. He attended UCLA, majoring in Economics. Mr. Martin's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree from Boston University's School of Management.
