David Stirpe

David J. Stirpe, Partner, is a specialist in environmental and atmospheric issues. He serves as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Responsible Atmospheric Policy, which is headquartered at Alcalde & Fay. He joined the firm in 1990. Mr. Stirpe has traveled extensively to many countries representing industry in U.S. embassies, before foreign governments, and in international environmental treaty negotiations. He has also traveled extensively to the states and localities addressing legislative and regulatory initiatives on behalf of industry. Mr. Stirpe represents several companies on environmental compliance and implementation of regulations; and he serves on the staff of the International Climate Change Partnership, a coalition of companies committed to responsible participation in the international and domestic global climate change policy process. Mr. Stirpe received a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, and a J.D. from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania Bars.
