Mr. Zolandz has spent his career assisting clients before Congress and the Executive Branch, and has developed and implemented strategies for success in the federal policy arena. From managing federal branding initiatives to successfully navigating the appropriations process, Mr. Zolandz combines his legal knowledge and training with practical experience to ensure clients needs are met. As a core member of Sonnenschein’s Information Capital Practice, Mr. Zolandz brings his policy expertise to clients in the financial services sector, providing real-time insight into market-changing events. He also provides counsel to individuals, corporations, associations and nonprofits on the intricacies of federal and state lobbying, campaign finance and ethics law, including the formation and management of federal and state political action committees. Mr. Zolandz has presented seminars on political compliance for industry groups and associations, and provided strategic counsel in the areas of coalition development, grassroots planning, and association government affairs program development. As a core member of Sonnenschein’s Advisory Services Group, Mr. Zolandz frequently integrates his work with colleagues in Sonnenschein’s Corporate, Insurance Regulatory and Fund Services Groups to assist clients in navigating complex mergers and public-private partnership initiatives. With a particular emphasis on privacy and regulation of the internet, Mr. Zolandz is a member of the Firm’s Internet, Communications & Data Protection Group, focusing primarily on federal legislation that impacts the technology industry. With close ties to key Congressional Committees, Mr. Zolandz brings a unique perspective to clients’ understanding of the politics of internet regulation. Mr. Zolandz is a volunteer reading mentor in the Everybody Wins! literacy program at the Marie Reed Learning Center in Washington, D.C.
