Todd Wincup

As a member of the firm’s public policy group, Todd Wincup provides information and analyses on political, regulatory, and legislative developments in Washington DC to a variety of financial service organizations and other entities. Mr. Wincup joined the firm after serving as Vice President and Chief of Staff at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he worked directly with the President/CEO and the Chief Operating Officer in managing the Chamber’s operations and staff.   In this role, he interacted with Fortune 500 CEOs, small business and trade association executives, legislators, and regulators, while managing major business initiatives, including telecom deregulation efforts, international trade disputes, a hedge fund deregulation campaign, a member acquisition program, and corporate philanthropy projects. Previously, Mr. Wincup was a management consultant at the world’s largest professional services firm, where he spearheaded an oft-cited performance measurement project for a major philanthropic organization, conducted a cost-benefit analysis for a $10 billion retail merger, and analyzed financial effects of proposed legislation on a private sector retail manufacturer. Mr. Wincup also worked for General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) as an aide in his personal office, where he authored speeches on public policy and leadership topics for public speaking events, researched political and public policy issues, and helped launch a major philanthropic organization. Before embarking upon a career in Washington, Mr. Wincup was a professional tennis player and held ATP world rankings in both singles and doubles competition.
