Paul Fakes

Paul Fakes joined The Whitaker Group in June 2006, bringing recent legislative policy experience to the TWG government affairs division. Mr. Fakes formerly worked as a legislative assistant for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) on budget, defense, foreign affairs, and on the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance Tax and Trade Issues. During this time, Mr. Fakes worked to advance a number of U.S. trade agreements and the most recent changes to the African Growth and Opportunity Act, passed in December 2006. Mr. Fakes holds a B.S. in International Relations from Middle Tennessee State University (2004).
