Julian H.B.L. Scurci is a self-employed real estate investor in Denver and throughout the Caribbean, where he is a principal in JHBLS Investments, LLC and Tropical Island Retreats, LTD. He is a trustee of the John S. Scurci Foundation and a past member of both the Alumni Council of the University of Denver-Daniels College of Business School and the board of the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation. Mr. Scurci earned a B.A. in political science at Hamilton College and an M.B.A. in finance and an M.S. in real estate and construction management at the University of Denver-Daniels College of Business. He lives in San Francisco with his fiancée Meredith Hoffmann. Julian's first job after Business School was with ProLogis (the world's largest industrial focused REIT) Investment Management group, as a financial analyst on the firm's largest open-ended private-equity development fund. At present, Julian is an associate with Baceline Investments LLC, a Private Equity firm specializing in the acquisition of distressed industrial and retail properties throughout the heartland Midwest. He also owns and manages four rental units in Denver, Colorado.
