Throughout his notable career, Mr. Jurcisin has demonstrated a dedication to serving the community. Mr. Jurcisin then went on to study at the FBI National Academy. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Jurcisin has both served his community and worked with several well-known elected officials. From 1983 to 1990, Mr. Jurcisin worked as the Chief of Staff for Wayne County Sheriff Robert Ficano. Then in 1991, he became Assistant Wayne County Executive for Edward McNamara. In 2002, Mr. Jurcisin decided to pursue a new type of career. Utilizing his experience of serving on the Livonia City Council for eight years as well as his political affiliations in his work as a Democratic Party precinct delegate, a delegate to the Democratic National Convention and as co-chair on the Issues Committee for Granholm for Governor, Mr. Jurcisin became a governmental consultant. Mr. Jurcisin has worked to serve his community through his involvement with the Livonia Family Y Board, the Livonia Cable Communication Commission, the Livonia Civil Service Commission, and the Livonia Spree Committee and as a coach for the LJFL football and baseball. Mr. Jurcisin currently resides in Novi, Michigan with his wife Bonnie. He is the proud father of three sons, Drew (Jennifer), Mike (Melanie) and Marc and the proud grandfather of Zach.
