James C. Stansel, 35, is a partner in the Health Care group. He represents health care manufacturers and providers, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, hospitals, nursing homes, therapy centers, mental health facilities and consultants in civil, criminal and administrative enforcement actions and in related complex civil litigation involving health care fraud and abuse. Mr. Stansel joined the firm in 1998 following a clerkship with the Honorable Stephen H. Anderson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Stansel, who had been an associate, is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he served as Senior Editor on the Yale Law Journal and was awarded the John M. Olin prize for best paper on law, economics and public policy. Mr. Stansel received a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
